For Daddy

Well we are in Calgary now!!! We managed to surprise Gran. It was hard not saying anything for the last month. Carter has been visiting everyone. This is just going to be a short blog, just to send Daddy some pictures and a video! He managed to climb up 4 stairs today!!!! Way to go Carter. I am a little worried now.
We love you Daddy and we can't wait to see you soon!

9 Months Old

Time is just flying by! I can't believe he is so close to 1! The weather here is BEAUTIFUL! We have been spending so much time outside and at the park. It is so hard to believe that just a month ago Carter was just starting to push himself backwards and now he is crawling everywhere! He loves to explore, especially outside. He has decided that he doesn't like dandelions. They apparently don't taste as good as they look. Sticks, pine cones, and grass are still very good. He is starting to figure out different uses for sticks....they are also good for hitting things and throwing. We have baby group tomorrow. I am sad to say I think it will be one of our last ones! Carter is getting too big and moving too much to be at baby group. We are ready to move up to the next group! My baby is growing too fast!
We took about 100 pictures yesterday at the park, but I won't put them all on!

On the move

Carter was sick at the beginning of the week. I had forgotten how much he moves. We spent 2 days snuggling on the couch, because that is how you cure a cold! Well now that Carter is feeling better......he does not stay still. He is really into exploring. He has found the dogs food and 'races' me to get to it. I am surprised Ewok lets him at it, poor Toby has to distract Ewok before he can eat! I have started putting toys at the end of the hall and shutting all the doors so Carter can play down there. He loves it, and comes crawling out to the living room when he wants to see me again. We went to a new park today. It was really nice. There is a lot of things that Carter can stand up onto to play with. There is only one baby swing though.....so we stalked people to get a chance on it. We are hoping for nice weather again tomorrow so Jaice can get out with us.

Happy Easter to everyone! The Easter Bunny made it to our place! Carter got 2 books, socks, bubbles, and maracas in the shape of fish! We decorated Easter eggs last night and it was so much fun! Danielle and Darcy came over to help us! Carter was more interested in the dye and managed to break all 3 eggs he was making. Good thing they were hard boiled. He did such a good job sitting and watching us after he finished with his eggs.
We hope everyone had a great Easter!

Dancing

Carter has been dancing for a little while now, so I finally got a video of it! He dances with the music. He has toys that make music and when they make music he will dance to them! It is so cute! I could only get a video of him from behind because if he sees the camera he will stop what he is doing. We are going to decorate Easter Eggs tonight. I will take lots of pictures and post them in the next day or two.
