Rolling, rolling, rolling!

Kinley rolled over today!!! She has been trying for about a week now and today she got over! She only goes from her back to her front right now. Jaice says she went front to back once, but I have yet to see it. She is just over 3 months ahead of when Carter rolled over. Maybe this way we will get some transition time between rolling and crawling.
I will post some Christmas pictures tomorrow or Monday. We had such a great visit with all the family we had here over the holidays. We are getting back into the swing of things, so I should be posting a little more often. :)

Christmas Trees and Penguins

I got a really cute video of Kinley talking to the Christmas tree last night. I think we might have to keep it up all year round! She talked to it for a good 20 minutes. I think she liked that she could grab at it.
I also got a video of Carter dancing like a penguin. It is so cute the way he moves his feet like a penguin. Can you tell he loved Happy Feet 2?!? The video of him is a little choppy because trying to get him to stay in one spot is kind of like trying to stop the wind! You might want to, but it isn't going to happen :)
Enjoy

Santa

We got the kids pictures done with Santa on Sunday. Carter sat on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted for Christmas, ' Carter want new Car movie and cookies'. We are still trying to get Carter to smile for the camera but for now we get him saying cheese.
We took Carter to his first movie on Sunday as well. We went to see Happy Feet 2. A friend of ours watched Kinley, so it was just an afternoon with mommy and daddy. I never realised how long coming attractions can be! Once the movie started he was pretty excited. Everytime the penguins started singing and dancing, Carter had to get out of his seat to dance. It was so cute! He lasted until about the last 20 minutes. We decided to walk at that point. All in all it was a great afternoon out. I think we might wait a little bit before taking him to another movie.
It was a busy weekend. We are pretty busy into the new year. December usually goes that way.
We hope everyone is having a nice December so far.

Carter reading

I finally got this video to load! Here is Carter reading to Kinley. He is making up words as he goes...I think he is doing that for the camera :)

Songs and Bath time

I have to post a video of Kinley in the bath recently, as Kinley cried when my mom bathed her! My parents were amazing and came out to watch the kids while Jaice and I went to Grey Cup. It was so much fun.
Carter has also started reading to Kinley. It totally melts my heart. I got it on video. He was a bit of a monkey when the camera came out, but it is still cute! Kinley watches Carter all the time. It makes me a little fearful for our future. I guess she will have to keep up with him in no time.
Kinley also likes music as much as Carter does. When we do our dance party in the afternoon, Kinley gets a big grin on her face and she squeals now. She doesn't quite giggle, but she does get a great big grin and lets out a huge squeal!

BIG Truck Parade

Tonight we went to the Big Truck Parade. It is so much fun. They decorate dump trucks, buses, fire trucks, cement trucks, and more. They are all lit up and Santa rides in an old fire truck. Last year when we went the honking scared Carter so we were interested to see how he would react this year. We warned Carter ahead of time that it would be loud and they would be honking. He seemed to enjoy himself. He was very enthralled in the trucks. We were a little disappointed that they didn't park the trucks for people to look at. Last year they had a bunch of trucks parked in the parking lot to walk around and look at. Oh well, we still had fun. Kinley was trying to sleep but the horns kept her up :)
I have a few more video's to post so enjoy!

A typical night at the Granson house

Carter loves to run and he loves to jump, so why not combine the two?! Sorry the video is a little choppy....he runs fast! We have a busy weekend ahead of us, so watch for new pictures by the end of the weekend.
