Goodness me look who's 3 :)

I can't believe Carter is 3!!!  Time is flying by.  Carter is 3 and Jaice and I have been married 4 years and in just over a month Kinley turns 1!  Where has the time gone.  I guess looking back we have packed a lot in 4 years.  We got married, had Carter, moved provinces, bought a house, and had Kinley.  I think we can take a few years to do nothing now :)
Up until about two weeks before his birthday, all Carter asked for was two birthday cakes.  He wanted a happy birthday cake and a race car cake...they could not be the same, believe me I asked!  So I felt like I had to make him 2 cakes!  On his actual birthday I made him a happy birthday cake.  My 'red' icing came out pink....don't worry I adjusted for the red race car cake!  It was a pretty simple cake with a blue chocolate 3 and chocolate letters (Happy Birthday Carter).  Carter got to have the cake for morning snack.  He ate off all the chocolate letters and then tried to eat the #3 candle as well.  It turns out the candle isn't as tasty. :)  We spent the day out at the splash park in Parksville and made a stop at Little Qualicum Cheeseworks on the way home.  Who knew a pigsty was SO SMELLY?!?  Apparently Gran did.... a little warning next time would be great :)

Apparently I have reached my image quota for this post...Look for his party pictures on the next post :)
