Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!  I had an AMAZING one! It started with breakfast in bed.  Carter and Jaice made me waffles.  Later we went out for brunch, home for a nap, out to the beach for the afternoon, and ended the night with a hotdog roast on the beach.  It was the perfect way to spend the day. We were surrounded by family and it was a beautiful day!
It was Kinley's first day at the beach.  It turns out she isn't a big fan of sand.  Well we had to remedy that as we spend the majority of the summer at the lake or the beach!  Once we put her into the ocean and she figured out how to splash, the sand wasn't a big deal anymore!  Uncle Dave got the pictures of Kinley in the water so I will get them from him.  I love watching Carter run and explore.  There is always so much more to see when you see it through his eyes!  It is another beautiful day here so we are on our way out to the backyard.
