Trick or treat

Another Halloween has come and the sugar rush has ended.  The kids were so stinking cute!  Up until last night Carter did not want to be a fire fighter.....that was the costume we had for him!  I got him to try it on last night and he declared 'This is going to be the best Halloween ever!'.  Finally he was sold on his costume.  As soon as I put Kinley's costume on, she got a big grin, squealed, and ran around!  I wasn't sure she would want to keep the head on but she loved it.   Today we went to a Halloween party for little ones.  There wasn't too much there but the kids enjoyed seeing other kids dressed up.  I think trick or treating might be Carter's favourite thing to do :) When we got up this morning Carter said, 'Oh No, it isn't dark, we can't go out until it is dark!'.  He was ok when I assured him it would get dark and we would get to go out.  Kinley wasn't too sold on the trick or treating.  She was more interesting in walking in her own direction or in puddles.  Carter's friend and her daddy came over to continue the trick or treating.  They had lots of fun.  Next year we are going to try and catch the fireworks that the firehall.  Carter was pretty tired by the time he got home.
